Big fights! PUNISHER PRESENTS BARRACUDA MAX #2 of 5 by Garth Ennis and Goran Parlov. It’s a big, bloody, sociopathic, potty-mouthed hullabaloo! Perfect for unwinding after a long day guarding death row. Not for kids. RUNAWAYS SAGA #1 by C.B. Cebulski and Humberto Ramos. A fine little primer for the uninitiated on this gem of a title. Joss Whedon’s taking over the book and creator Brian K. Vaughan gave him a tough act to follow. You should be reading this book. WALKING DEAD #36 by Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard. Rick deals with Martinez. And there’s zombies. Not for kids. WOLVERINE WEAPON X PREMIERE HC written and drawn by Barry Windsor-Smith. Collecting MARVEL COMICS PRESENTS #72-84 in which we discover one of the reasons why Wolverine is so cranky. Beautifully drawn carnage by BWS. X-FACTOR #17 by Peter David and Pablo Raimondi. Another awesome issue from the mind of Peter David, setting up what looks like some dark times ahead even by X-standards. Recommended. X-MEN #197 by Mike Carey and Chris Bachalo. If I were Sabretooth I wouldn’t go making any long-term plans. Just sayin’… X-MEN FIRST CLASS #7 of 8 by Jeff Parker and Roger Cruz. The Angel and the Scarlet Witch go on a date. No chaperone. Those kids! Y THE LAST MAN #55 by Brian K. Vaughan and Pia Guerra. Sadly this begins the final story-arc to this amazing series. Yorick and Agent 355 head to France to find the Last Man’s best gal. Includes a sneak-peek for “Army @ Love #1.” (Or y’know, ya could just pick it up off the rack. Thanks late shipping!)
